Although our main interest is in the show ring, all of our breedings are very selective, continually striving to produce confident, healthy, merry little hounds that exemplify the breed standard. Beagles have been a part of our family since 1996 when I got my first beagle from Linn Yertzell of Wildland’s Beagles. Tortuga Beagles became a reality in March 2007 with the arrival of our first litter, the “Dream” litter. Our pick girl from this litter is only 3 singles away from her championship and will be our foundation bitch, Tortuga’s Prelude To A Dream “Annabelle”.
